About Landhaus Lodges Kaprun
Welcome to the website of Landhaus Lodges Kaprun. Looking out from the house you’ll see the lovely village of Kaprun. The beautiful Kitzsteinhorn Glacier (3203 m) and the Grossglockner (3798 m), part of national park the Hohe Tauern, are our neighbors from across the street.
The house is completely detached and consists of three floors. On the ground floor you’ll find wellness, including a sauna and a relax area, which can be used for free in agreement with the owners. Five apartments suitable to fit groups from 2 to 10 people, are located on the first floor. All rooms have a breathtaking views over the valley and are furnished with traditional Austrian décor. Some apartments have their own kitchen and separate bedrooms.
We will always try to accommodate to our guests as best as we can. To prevent any unnecessary disturbances, we kindly ask you to take into account your fellow guests.

Arrival
When you arrive, we will be able to communicate with you in German and English. We’ll inform you about our house rules, the separation of waste and the use of sauna and swimming pool. Afterwards, registration for the township as well as any open questions will be taken care of. Upon arrival, we will also ask our guests for a €200,- deposit. The deposit will be blocked on a credit card and given back to you at your departure day, after you have left the apartment in good condition.
Additionally, you will be informed about the possibility of ordering freshly made bread rolls. The bread will be delivered before 06:30 every day, including sundays and holidays. At the entrance and in the apartments you’ll find all the information you need regarding activities in the surrounding area. This information will be available to you in multiple languages. We are happy to help you if you have any further questions.
It is possible to bring your dog for €15,- a night, on the condition that the dog is not a cause of disturbance for the other guests.
Dogs
In consultation with us you can bring your dog(s) at a charge of €15,- per dog per night, as long as they do not bother the other guests. We have a limited number of benches and blankets available.
Restaurants
In Kaprun are a lot of cosy restaurants. We can recommend the Baumbar, Tafern, Margarethenstein, Kennidi, Kitsch and Bitter and the Dorfstadl.
Fishing
Fishing is possible in the area throughout the year, both for kids and adults. Popular are sturgean (up to 2 meters) and throut, and a catch is almost guaranteed. Fishing gear can be rented locally.
Horseback riding
There are 3 riding schools in the area where guests of all ages can ride.
Lama tours
Suitable for children, departure is down in the valley.
Golf
Close to Zell am See there are two 18-hole golf courses, where you are more than welcome for a day of golf.
